[...] the two create plenty of laughter on stage. Shakespeare’s plays are repeated so much that it is refreshing to see a unique take on The Taming of the Shrew.
First and foremost, what stands out about this production is how talented both Paige Hann and Zak Rosen are: Both as creators and performers of the adaptation. Both have a really high command of Shakespearean language; the way they deliver their lines is hugely engaging, and you buy into their characters instantly. This, combined with their reimagining of the original Shakespeare comedy, is of the highest standard and cannot be praised enough. The way they are bringing Shakespearean texts into the 21st century is inspiring.
